Kensington Mansion:
Dedicated to Collaboration,
Preservation, and Education

Today Kensington Mansion is a fully restored historic home which houses the Scarborough-Hamer Collection of Decorative Arts from the Victorian Period. International Paper and the Scarborough-Hamer Foundation have formed a partnership to provide educational programming to the public and to conduct tours of the Mansion. Along with our regularly scheduled tours and children's programming, the mansion is home to the ever popular Christmas at Kensington in December and other special programs throughout the year.

In the 1970s, it seemed as if nothing would save this grand old manor and that time would destroy what war and storm could not. Thanks to International Paper's strong committment to preservation, today Kensington Mansion stands proudly as it did a hundred and more years ago, restored to its original appearance and grandeur.
